International Night 2009

International Night 2009 will be held on May 22nd.  This is the largest
international event held on the PSU campus every year and usually brings
in crowds of 800+ students, staff, and community members.  Every year we
need international student volunteers and support in the following 5
areas.   If you volunteer for 2 or more hours you will get a free ticket.

Please contact the Organization of International Students at ois@pdx.edu
if you answer "yes" and can help in any of these areas:

Fashion Show:  We need models (do not need to have any modeling
experience) and clothes from various countries.
Entertainment:  Do you have a talent song/dance/martial art/other visual
arts to share that are specific to your country?
Decorations:  Do you want to help setting up and clean up on the night
of the event.
Food: Do you have connections to a local restaurant with international
cuisine that could provide food at a lower cost?
Publicity:  Do you want to help spread the word about International Night?
Country Booths: Do you want your country or region to be represented
with a country booth filled with artifacts and information in the
Multicultural Center?

Please let us know how you can help out!  Remember, if you want your
country or region to be represented you must respond by May 1st so that
we can include you in the festivities or behind the scenes.  For general
